Agugiaro&Figna Molini, Italy’s oldest flour mill, brings to the shelf the first line of flours dedicated to food lovers.

On Wednesday, February 6, 2019, @FOOD SPOT in Milan hosted the premiere presentation of the line, a journey into the world of the new Agugiaro&Figna Molini references through a multisensory path divided by thematic areas led by special guests: Master Pastry Chef Andrea “Strabba” Tamagnini, Master Pizzaiolo Salvatore Santucci, Master Baker Edoardo Corti and Chef Cesare Veronesi. The workshop concluded with a special tasting, leaving it up to taste to recognize all the quality and excellence of products made with Agugiaro&Figna flours.

Speakers at the conference included Compagnia Generale Molini President – parent company – Giorgio Agugiaro, Agugiaro&Figna Molini CEO Riccardo Agugiaro and Giovanni Taliana the Retail Manager of the new line.

Special attention has been paid to the issue of sustainability, a founding value of the company’s business system. In fact, the company is committed to the protection of biodiversity, local development and the reduction of social impact, starting with the energy generated from renewable sources with which all plants are powered. A path that follows the principles of “good, clean, fair” and that sanctions the official partnership with Slow Food.

Also a guest of the day was journalist and writer Tessa Gelisio, who has been involved for years in tracking and reporting on the sustainable approaches of leading industrial souls and who led the partnership between the milling company and Slow Food Italy.
