Exactly one year after its inauguration, on the occasion of the National Tree Day, we celebrate the first birthday of the Molino Forest, the green lung that stands next to the headquarters of Agugiaro & Figna Molini in Collecchio (Parma), the beating heart to nurture and make people understand the importance of soil as a fundamental heritage of our environment.
Today, as the 18,000 plants in the Molino Forest continue their growth, which will result in the absorption of up to 220,000 kg per year of CO2, offsetting the total emissions of the four plants in Curtarolo, Collecchio, Magione, and Rivolta d’Adda, environmental activities and projects related to the study of soil, biodiversity, and a new eco-sustainable culture also continue.
From the 2021/2022 “Agugiaro & Figna Molini” call for proposals to support theses dedicated to environmental issues, to the international research project on metal corrosion and related activities with local schools, the desire to make Bosco del Molino a point of reference for projects related to culture, sustainability and environmental responsibility toward future generations is increasingly consolidated.
