Agugiaro & Figna main partner of Bufala Fest.

Naples, Sept. 4, 2023 – Agugiaro & Figna, the historic Italian milling company, returns to Bufala Fest for a five-day tasteful event.

The event will feature the best masters of the art of pizza making, including the ambassadors of the Le 5 stagioni brand. Ciccio Vitiello, Antonio Starita, Raffaele Vitale, Pasquale Cozzolino, Gianni Improta, Paolo Surace, and Guglielmo Vuolo are ready to make palates dream through the pizzas offered in the tasting booths and during the numerous show cooking sessions, thanks to an exceptional raw material: the Le 5 Stagioni line of flours , the company’s first brand of flours dedicated to pizza, which has now become a reference point in the industry. In recent years, in fact, many chefs and pizza makers have found inspiration in the Le 5 Stagioni range, from traditionalists to innovators.

There will be no shortage of stage for Le Sinfonie, flours dedicated to pastry by Agugiaro & Figna Molini, which will tune the sweet notes of the great interpreters of Neapolitan millennial pastry: I Marigliano, Scaturchio and Pasticceria Caldarelli.

At this seventh edition of the Bufala Fest, there will be no shortage of attention to sustainability with a talk entitled “The food supply chain between food diversity, economic inclusion, environmental eco-sustainability” by Agugiaro & Figna Molini and Fratelli La Bufala, with the presence of MSC Cruises. The meeting is an ‘opportunity for the audience of insiders and journalists to learn about the sustainability projects of their respective companies, with a focus on technological investments aimed at reducing impacts on the environment, but also to make business processes and practices effective, traceable and tangible. This is the goal pursued by Agugiaro & Figna Molini in all its latest investments.

Also of extraordinary importance are the activities that the company will share with Fratelli La Bufala, the most important network of pizza makers in the world engaged in social activities of re-education and professional integration through the “Pizzeria dell’Impossibile” project, in collaboration with Nisida Prison.

Closing the collaborations is the historic and indissoluble partnership with the Verace Pizza Napoletana Association – AVPN, which sees the two entities engaged in the promotion of true Neapolitan pizza and the crises necessary to make it in a workmanlike manner, just as the AVPN specification requires. In attendance will be Paolo Surace, owner of Pizzeria Mattozzi, an AVPN member and counted among the centenarians of Naples, and Antonio Pace president of AVPN.
