For Agugiaro & Figna, care for the environment and respect for people have always been essential values. This is why, over the years, we have initiated a strong reflection on the future, actively and personally committing ourselves to overcoming current difficulties and turning them into opportunities.⠀
Over the years we have been committed to ensuring the use of 100 percent energy from renewable sources for production, as well as the use of 100 percent FSC-certified bagging paper. But not only that, we are well aware of the potential impact, positive or negative, that we can have on the surrounding environment, which is why in 2021 we inaugurated The Molino Forest: a wooded area including 18 thousand trees planted to absorb 100% of the C02 emitted by our four plants.
We have chosen to recount all this, and much more, through the Sustainability Report in order to share with our stakeholders the pillars on which we base our corporate choices oriented towards building a new model of sustainable and inclusive development. This Report represents an important step, testifying to our commitment to offer a certain, clear and transparent view of all data and information on our commitment to economic, social and environmental sustainability as a fundamental component of our business.
